Scooter rides for a block then stops

I have a Vitacci Touring 250 (Same as the Lance 250 Touring) with the CN250 Engine. I just started having a problem if it running.
When it first started It died on me at a light, had to push it to the parking lot. Let it set for about 6 hours went out and it started right up, drove it down the street for a block and it started to die as if it was running off the battery and the battery went dead. I got it back to the parking lot (pushed) and let it sit for a day, but when I try to crank it now it barley turns the motor. Could the generator have gone bad and it is causing the scooter to slowly die at first then now it is running (or trying to) off a dead battery?

Any thought on this is appreciated, it will help me get an idea of where to start.
