I am thinking of buying a 2 stroke scooter. I was considering an Aprilia SR50 but they run about $3k. I know they're fast because two guys in our scoot club have them. I have since found the Baccio VX50 which looks great. I was wondering if anyone had one and could give me an honest review of performance out of the box. I can get a Baccio for about $1300.
Thanks guys!

Take a look at the Strada scooters. 3 year engine warranty , 2 year major component and they do 45 out of the box with fantastic parts support. www.scootersus.com is where you can see them.

If you're going to spend $1300 you might as well spend $1700 and get a made in Taiwan scoot like an Adly, SYM or Kymco. My Adly has a two year warranty (with dealers all over the place), it's reliable and it goes 47 mph, 44 mph into winds, 50 mph with the wind at your back. All you gotta do is add gas and two-stroke oil and ride it, there's no searching the internet trying to find fixes for things. I went on a 167 mile ride the other day, it never even made a hiccup. I'm going to ride it to Key West and back, a 682 mile round trip, plus whatever I put on while down there, I know all I'll have to do is add gas to it, it's a reliable scoot.

I'd like to hear more from Baccio owners or retailers. Good and bad!

if you can swing a few more dollars....and really want performance then maybe a look at a Benelli/Andretti X50i that might trip your trigger...they are reportedly to be top performers....if you like the retro look then a Genuine Buddy50 un-restricted kicks azz.....

I have a baccio speedy50 and love the scoot. no problems at all but it is a china scoot. also have a SR50 that i bought used with alot of extras. Honestly I like my sr50 better. alot of the parts you would have to order though. Where I'm from they dont stock for these scoots. speed wize, the sr50 smokes my baccio. I think my baccio is relible but its all in how you take care of what you have. You could pick up a used sr50 for less if that is what you like. parts are not cheap either for the aprilia's . good luck .
