Hey all,
My buddy was messing with my remote and tried to remote start the bike. Now, it is the only way to start the bike.
I have started the bike with the remote and then turned it off using the arm and the disarm button, but the bike will still only start with the remote. I'm guessing maybe a lose connection somewhere?
I disconnected the battery and pulled both the fuses that I know the bike has and still it will only start with the remote...any help is appreciated.
The bike is a MP-250A-JCL and I believe its the linhai clone engine.
Thanks :-)

Most riders totally remove or disconnect the remote/alarm box for similar reasons, my sisters scooter thought it was being stolen and would kill power after about 30 seconds, we removed the box and all is well. It should not be a loose connection if this started after your buddyplayed with the remote. What are you doing with the key ignition, ? somewhere on his forum is a generic process to solve this, I don't remember where., try a search for Remote start, see what threads come up. Also look at this link , it is 3 pages of pdf file describing the process to use the remote. www.oregonvintage.com/Alarm.pdf

Depending on the scoot, if you turn off the cycle with the remote it will only start with the remote. Once started see if you can turn it off with the key instead. There are a few threads on different variations of this problem. For example a Hyundai if locked with the remote, will not start if you open the door with the key.

Might check a loose fuse. They sometimes work loose. Check to make sure wires are connected. My fuses came loose twice since owning. The second time, was four days ago at a store parking lot. I knew where to go, when it would not start with the start button. That a fuse can loose.

On my bike I would have to push the lock button,(it beeps twice) then unlock, (beeps again) then I would be able to put the key in and use the start button on the right handle. try that,it always worked for me
