I was wondering if any knows if the Chinese have cloned the Morphous yet. I really like the layout of this bike, but I'm not paying 5 grand for one.   |

I once thought I had seen one someplace, but it turned out to be a regular maxi-scooter with a mini-stub-windsheild and no trunk box or package rack.

I really like the layout of this bike, but I'm not paying 5 grand for one. My guess is you will probably end up spending close to or at least 5000 on a HX250 (or two) over a period of time equal to the lifetime of the Yamaha. |

It may resemble a Morphous but it won't have a Morphous motor. The Morphous has a double overhead cam, 4 valve, fuel injected motor. Valve adjustments are every 24,500 miles. That is why it costs more.
