Aileronjack, I would say 1 since the engines do not produce that much power only about 8.5HP at over 7000rpms and the Mufflers are restricted anyway. They have a CAT built in them so that really restricts the exhaust. Alleyoop

Alley Did you take tires to a tire shop or just a regular garage? What did they charge, & did they charge extra for all those weights? Is that 7 & 10 oz?

Dwild62, Well your going to HOLLER AT ME:) Its called JUST TIRES they are down the street from me and I always have bought my car tires from them so they know me and are really nice. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME FOR ANYTHING:) They said its on us:)
I didn't see what each individual piece of weights were but the machine registered 7.50 and 10.00, the guy said WOW!! almost a 1lb off:)
I did take it for a ride even though it is very cold out there. I was doing 50mph at 6200-6300 and cranked it up to 60 then turned around put it back in the garage and POLISHED IT:) Alleyoop

Alley I'll just bring tires to you then!! I bet it rides better now, A?? My wife said I could use the car tomorrow, so maybe I'll see if I can get mine done.. I know mine is going to be pretty bad, because when I wound it up on the bench it tried to walk right off the bench, so I had to strap the rear down so it wouldn't fall off the bench..

Dwild62, Yes, I like the tires better than the others. These tires are a little softer I think and cushions more going over ruts and stuff. The other tires are harder I think or maybe because they are smaller and less rubber between threads and rim.
Yea sounds like they are pretty unbalanced if they wanted to go walking off on you. Mine were several guys came over they couldn't believe how far off they were:)
WHAT!!!!! You have to ask your wife to use the CAR?????? Tell her if she wants something for Valentines Day you need the car, otherwise HOW can you get her something:) Alleyoop

Wow! Alley! 7.5-10. That's huge! 60+ I would bet...in Chicago....temps around 30.... windchill at 60 is around 10 degrees. Your a brave man. It's good to hear that the new tires are softer and handle the bumps a little better. But, what makes them so out of balance. ? Besides the obvious answer of more rubber in a specific area. With that being so far off balance, would dyna-beads be out of the question? J

A Jack Ya, I don't think dyna beads would've worked on these tires.. Mine tire were off pretty bad to, but not as bad.. My thought is they're seconds or maybe just because they're Chinese.. If it's because they're Chinese, they may not get much better then that in quality..

Yep, Dwild62 is probably right about the tires, seconds or cheaply made. I may go and order the other 205/65-10 KENDA's that are rated at 65mph that appear to be of better quality. I really don't plan to go that fast, but just be able to cruise at 55 with a little left over up to my Sons house which is 25miles away further west of me. Getting there are stretchs of 4 lane roads 50-55 miles per hour so able to cruise at 55 with the engine not screaming all the way is really what i was looking for.
Also I think the BEADS only work while ROLLING so if you have a shimmy it will not go away until the beads start flying around in there. So the shimmy would never go away unitl rolling. I might be wrong, but others have used them, I don't see how else the beads would work. Imagine dumping in a lb of beads in a tire(HEHE).
As far as BRAVEING the COLD your right it was freezing but I HAD TO GIVE THEM A TRY:) Heck I cranked on it just to see and turned down a side street and came back put it back in the garage and POLISHED IT:) Alleyoop

Hi Dawgs, Aileronjack found this short Video of ICE BEAR 2010 EXPO. I love the new rear ends on the Trikes with lights on each fender. The ones on the raised displays look like the Big ones 250cc/300cc just by looking at the size of the Rear Tires. Alleyoop http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mV3I6Uk3Es

Hi Dawgs, Well Dwild62 and I don't like the tires that we got we think they are Seconds. So we are still looking for better taller quality tires. We have found some and we have been asking for specifics on the the tires the dealers are selling. We now think the Kenda Load Star tire might be a better choice. But we are waiting on answeres for the specific questions we have. Alleyoop

Aileronjack, Well when I took them to have get them balanced one was off by 10.00 oz!! and the other by 7.50 oz!! that tells me they are not quality tires. They work but I have all those stickem weights inside the rims. I don't like that. Good thing they were cheap(HEHE) maybe thats why WE GOT WHAT WE PAYED FOR. Alleyoop

Ok Guys, When I read about this Manual Choke Conversion Kit I asked the question about needing the Needle like the Enricher has. I was told that it didn't need it that the Plunger covers the hole.
Found what the problem is with this Choke Conversion Kit. Like I asked about not needing the Needle WELL it sure does need the needle. With the Kit when you use the Choke meaning you pull the Plunger Out to allow more gas it allows TOO MUCH GAS IN at once and Floods the engine and it dies.
With a Needle, the Needle is acting as a measure and Limiting the amount of gas coming in. The Needle and Plunger when retracted leaves part of the Needle still in the hole. I am going to switch the Plunger from the Kit and replace it with the Plunger and Needle from a Enricher. I already have the Plunger and Needle from my Orginal Enricher that came with the Trike apart and the Needle Soldered into to it. All I need to do now is Solder the Plunger to the Cable. Will take pictures when done and let you know how that works out. Alleyoop

Alley Looks right to me, mine times the same way.. If you move the cam sprocket 1 tooth the other direction the piston will be just starting it's way back down, which is wrong.. I've played w/ it both direction.. I'm thinking it's something to do w/ the fact that our engines are what they classify as GY7 engines...

Dwild62, But man that is really RETARDED!! No where near the "T" Mark? I will pull the Fan off and check to see if the Key is on the Fly Wheel and Shaft correctly. I will check with Ice Bear and try and find out what the timeing should be on these things. Alleyoop

Trikers, Ok, I called Ice Bear about the Timeing on these Trikes and They Asked for the Pictures of the Flywheel Timeing and Cam when at TDC and they will send them to the Manufactuer and find out if the Timeing that is showing at TDC is correct or not and they will be getting back to me. So as soon as I get a respond I will up this Thread. Alleyoop
