Jim, Thanks for sharing your trip. I really enjoyed reading your adventures. Sorry you had a bad meal though, but that is bound to happen when you are away from home.

Wow...glad I did some research and found this trip. Makes me feel really good about my decision to buy the SYM RV250. Although this is my first experience with a Maxi-scooter, I think that I got the right one. It just seems like such a nice bike all around...and now that Lance is taking over getting parts here in the US, I feel even better about it. I was worried about the availability of parts, but things are looking up. What a great trip this was. Thanks for sharing it.

howdy,"63. thanks for the sharing of your trip with us. i have traveled most of that on various vehicles and really enjoyed your travelog. i do think you should stop next time and go down to the sea lion caves. the sights sounds smells etc are something you would remember even if the sea lions were not in residence.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya

Glad you guys liked it. This was our 1st trip of 3 on our SYM's riding solo. We both really enjoyed all three, and will provide memories for years to come. But as we all do age and the downsides that come with it have taken there toll, medical issues. So our next tour will be 2-up, the mrs. said she would prefer that for long rides. We will keep our scooters for local and in-state day rides. For our long rides we are looking at touring bikes, Goldwings, Harley's and some others. My KZ1000P has enough power but the passenger accommodations are not the most comfortable. And the SYM's although 2-up capable would be seriously taxed with both of us and the luggage. Going to look at a left-over 2010 Goldwing tomorrow. Also been eye-balling the Harley Electra Glides, I do like that classic look, air-cooled, EFI, along with the decent gas mileage, makes the new ones more appealing. Wife has given thumbs up to either on her comfort, we both like the Goldwings better, it will come down to which we can get the best deal on. This 2010 maybe the one will depend how low they willing to go.
