I purchased my scoot from riderswholesale.com. They have the lowest sticker price on the net ($2,399.00). I made my order with April. I gave my credit card info on a Friday. The importer charged the card on the following Friday. I received my scoot on the following Wednesday. So from the time that they charged my card until delivery to my doorstep, it took 5 days!!! Awesome!
On another note, I had a terrible time doing the initial oil and coolant changes. Not that the task are difficult, but since I have never done this before, I did everything in the wrong order.
For instance, when you get your new scoot, you have to put the acid in the battery and charge it. That takes anywhere between 2 1/2 hours and 4 hours. Then and only then can you crank up the engine to change the coolant fluids etc. I took the scoot apart before I realized that I had to wait on the battery to charge. And by that time it was too late to continue. LOL!
Also, I tried to take the coolant hose off but it looks like it's been glued on and there is a clamp on it. On the other hand, I didn't want to break the seal on the pump to remove the coolant but it looks like that is the only way I will be able to drain the coolant.
So I had to postpone my initial joy ride until I can change the coolant, gear oil and motor oil on another warm and beautiful day.
sweet looking scoot. hope u enjoy it and whered you get it from?

I got home after work today (Jan 19, 2012) and installed the battery. I took the scoot outside the garage and cranked it up so as to warm up the engine before changing the fluids. There was a leak of motor oil. It dripped one drop per second. It came from underneath the spark pull about 4 inches towards the front, there is a small bolt there and it was dripping from what looked like a brass gasket. I tightened the bolt. Well it did not feel like I did anything but the leak stopped!
I turned the scoot back on and after a while the engine coolant began to spray out from what looked like underneath the coolant cap and coolant was coming out of the over flow hose which is right under the cap!
I had enough for today. I put the scoot back in the garage and left it alone for tomorrow. I will start it up tomorrow and see where the temperature gauge rest and look to see if the coolant will overflow again. Even though I never looked at the temperature gauge, I did listen for the fan, it never came on!
For now, I'm going to meditate and take an epson salt bath to relax. LOL!Sweet scoot! Take your time on that PDI, it *will* pay off.

I'd take a long ride over a hot bath any day, unless of course there were fluids spewing out of it.

It's been almost 2 months. I have still not received my papers from sunright.net and riderswholesale.com so that I can register my scooter. I have called both places to ask for them to send my papers. Did anyone else experience this other than me?

I had a time of it at the DMV (even with all the paperwork) so I registered it through the dealer, it's just that now i'm running into difficulty getting the original paperwork back. (unresponsiveness and indifference to customer needs seems to run rife through China scoot dealers.)

The bottom screw on the water pump will drain your antifreeze also use it to burp the radiator. Jimm

Thanks! I still have not received my Certificate of Origin papers. I call everyday. I still have not been able to register my scoot without these papers. It's been about two months now. One bright spot. I called sunright.net and told them about my problems with this scoot and they sent me a few new parts for the coolant system. BUT they have not sent my PAPERS!The bottom screw on the water pump will drain your antifreeze also use it to burp the radiator. Jimm

I received my Aeolus 300 from Riderswholesale as well a week ago and called on Monday and the lady said she believes mine when out friday and maybe Wed (tomorrow) I should receive my MCO or whatever it is. Also, on mine, the two places on either side down low where the bubble wrap was at, the metal cut thru the bubble wrap and rubbed/scratched both sides of the lower panes in those spots. I got on the phone, and emailed (and also just happened to have video'd it so it could be seen where and how the scratches came that way...they said they would send my email over to the warranty dept and get the parts on the way. That paperwork situation has to be frustrating beyond belief. If I bought a product and had to wait 2 month to get the documents so I could legally ride it, I'd be ready to tear someones head off. Drop-shipped scooters are such a crap shoot, sometimes you score a good deal, and others are a $2300 nightmare. I hate reading about people getting taken for a ride like this, buy in person if you can best defense for this scenario.

The problem is government agencies like the DMV have no incentive to expedite anything in a timely fashion.
I hope you get that sweet looking ride on the road soon.
