I need to know on the 80 bbk from scrappy what ring is the top one and is it any markings on the rings that show what side of the ring is up

Install oil control ring first, then the second ring then the top ring.
The ring pack is usually stacked from top to bottom before you open it.
If you need to figure it out because you pulled it all out of the pack then the thickest shiny ring is the top one. There's usually a circle marking near the cut part of the ring and this indicates the top side of the ring.
The darker colored ring is the second ring.
The oil control ring, install the wavy ring then slide the two thin scraper rings on and into the grove on the oil control ring.

I'd send them an email tonight and ask them. The rings on my stock 50cc top end rebuild (from scrappy) were marked, but not all rings are the same and are marked differently. I've bought rings before that nearly identical, if not identical, with no markings.

GOLDEN RULE: Never replace anything until a valve adjustment is done---besides the obvious.

I have installed many Scrappy 80cc kits. The rings are not marked and it doesn't matter which side is up. Just clock the rings and you will be fine.
