 help with upjetting
« Thread Started on Apr 21, 2012, 1:14pm »

so i just purchased an #88 jet for my 139qmb in my 2011 tomes nitro 50. i took apart the carb and saw the three jets, however it seems the one i bought doesn't fit. I'm not sure if i need to take apart the jet in order to put it in or if i need a different jet. this is what i have: http://www.scrappydogscooters.com/images/main-jet.jpg
and the jets in the carb are much longer than this. any help is greatly appreciated.

the main jet fits in a holder. you have to unscrew the main from the holder.

What carb do you have? The jets are NOT universal, they fit specific manufacturers. The Hoca style jets do fit many of the unknown chinese carbs but not all of them.
