 Endrigo GY6 Performance Heads
« Thread Started on Mar 7, 2011, 3:17pm »

Endrigo GY6 Performance Heads now available at Enviromoto.

As you know your stock head from the factory has it's flaws. The porting is terrible, the valves are poorly seated, the intake port is rough, and overall its just a very restrictive piece of equipment. Dave Endrigo has taken this into account and spent the better part of a year with Enviromoto to develop a quality performance product that keeps your engine reliable, and is cost effective.

I checked Scrappy and he does have a head with large valves and hand ported intake and exhaust runners. However just because you have large valves and huge intake and exhaust ports dont mean your going to make any more power than stock. It has more to do with the flow, air velocity, and combustion chamber volume than anything else. Not only that but I didn't see anywhere where he had his heads decked to raise the compression.

Dave Endrigo actually has a flow bench to measure the increase in performance on his heads, and we found that larger valves and intake runners can also cause you to loose performance. So keep that in mind when you are looking for performance parts. Just because they say its performance don't necessarily mean its true.

We have tested these heads and will hopefully get some dyno numbers of our own soon to back up our claims. I hope scrappy does the same because I would love to compare notes.
