 Information needed please
« Thread Started on Mar 16, 2012, 7:53pm »

We own a Roketa MC-54-250b.......took bike out of storage, put the battery in and found the battery was bad. Went and bought a new batter today, charged it, and when my husband put it in he put it in backwards :o. Now I have absolutely NO juice to anything. Have checked the fuse by the battery box and it still looks fine.

Can anyone give me some ideas as to where to go from here. Bike was running last night even with old battery so I am at a loss. Will hooking up the battery wrong and turning the key on have effect on anything? ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated as I need to get this bike running as soon as possible. thanks in advance.

He blew the fuse that is located on the starter solenoid. The sol is located under the right rear fender. The fuse is actually connected to the sol. It should be a 30a fuse and there should be a spare fuse connect to the sol as well. Its' a bit of a PITA to find but trust me it's there.......I know because I did the same thing.

Bob

PS...Be sure to correct the battery install before replacing the fuse. Once replaced your good to go.

Glad you found it. Now don't forget to replace the spare.
